Dr. Ganir was born in Hawaii and grew up in the Northwest. He attended college in Idaho and Utah and graduated with honors before attending dental school at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.

After dental school, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in Florida where he was trained in advanced procedures by board certified specialists in prosthodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. He served as a dentist in the US Air Force for 3 years before moving to Middleton in 2004. He then worked for a group practice in the Treasure Valley for two years.

In 2006, Dr. Ganir opened his own practice: Middleton Smiles Family Dentistry. He and his family love living here in Middleton.

Greetings Middleton Smiles Family! I’m Dr. Scott Lemmons and I feel very blessed and excited to join Dr. Ganir and the Middleton Smiles team.

I was born and raised in Modesto, California. While studying Biology and Italian at BYU, I fell in love with my wife Lorren, whose family has been lobbying for her return to Idaho since we married.

I studied dentistry at UCLA and completed an additional year of advanced training. I recently finished 6 years of Active Duty service in the Army Dental Corps where I gained valuable experience and satisfaction making every effort to improve quality of life for our troops through outstanding dental care. My assignments took our family to Washington, North Carolina, and Georgia. I remain a part-time soldier in the Army Reserves.

I love my occupation and find great fulfillment in gaining the trust of anxious or reluctant patients, relieving pain, and improving the way people feel about themselves through cosmetic treatment. My goal is to deliver excellent results that are esthetic, functional, and long-lasting in a comfortable setting.
